Nice video. I'm installing Timbertech Radiance railing on my PVC deck. My 16 step staircase is at 32deg. The Timbertech alum round balusters come precut at 36 deg. Do you just recut the angle with miter saw?

This stuff is poison and if your contractor is messy it will be in your ground for years to come contaminating it. Even a dust collector doesn’t get it. No warning label! Wear a mask people. I see so many guys sawing this crap up breathing it right in. Way to go azek another poison product for lovely Mother Nature.

  • @livinbytheocean2032

This stuff is absolute poison. We saw hundreds and hundreds of board feet and all that micro plastic dust goes in the air. Even with a dust collector. No one cares. It’s being sawed all up and down the coast. No warning label and all these eco people are worried about gasoline. This stuff goes everywhere! Your ground will be contaminated for years to come!

Cutting your product creates micro plastics that are blown into the environment. Cut a bunch of it today didn’t enjoy breathing it.can yo state that cutting this product does not introduce micro plastics into any environment it is deployed? Cutting this product is an environmental disaster any where it goes. Micro plastics will be on that site until the end of time, just like asbestos.

I noticed on the video of the DrySpace the bottom 1-1/2" of the ledger board is exposed. What is your recommendation to close in, cut a 1-1/2" angle of aluminum or vinyl to create a flashing or is their a product for this, it would have to be notched at every joist and hanger.

Well, I think that the instructor is not starting with safety measures such as the use of a mask, glasses, helmet, and gloves. I think that he should start first with occupational safety, which is the most important thing.

I installed Azek around 24 windows in my tiny 1500 sq. ft. home (crazy right lol). I also added it along the top of the siding to overhang a slight bit to create my gap for my rain screen. The windowsills come cut from the factory (?) rough in a spot and collect dirt, its very unattractive. I don't plan on painting these because I don't want that added maintenance, especially since my windows are about 50 ft. up in the air (home built into a mountain ledge). I love the white color as it is and it says they don't need painted. I used the eraser to fill the holes which are to only be used if I don't plan on painting the trim. How do I correct all these windowsills on the rough section of them? I have scrap pieces I've been playing with and I tried rubbing alch 91% and sanding and its still dirty. I tried sanding with 240grit that I had laying around that was alum oxide sanding pads. I even tried a little Ikea handheld sanding sponge. The areas get smooth but still dirty. TLDR: What is the trick to getting the rough saw sections of the precut windowsills clean and to prevent them from collecting dirt unpainted. Thanks.
